CONTRIBUTION: While shadowing the show programming and technical integration teams, I observed live testing and calibration of the droid units. I gained first-hand insight into how show programming logic, motion control systems, and safety protocols are used to bring free-roaming animatronics to life. I also learned about the coordination required between programming, engineering, and creative teams to ensure that these robots move believably within guest environments.
