CONTRIBUTION: I supported the Video Systems Designers and Technical Directors during installation and testing phases of the parade’s AV infrastructure. My work included in-field assistance during float installation, AV signal testing, prop maintenance, and rehearsal preparation. I also documented technical meetings, tracked integration progress, and coordinated between show and operations teams to ensure system readiness for performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisted with show system installation, calibration, and AV testing.
- Documented meeting notes, signal chain updates, and hardware configurations.
- Supported technical and dress rehearsals with on-site troubleshooting.
- Collaborated with lighting, show control, and video engineering teams to verify show cues.
- Ensured safety compliance and system maintainability through detailed tracking.
- Assisted with prop maintenance and harness fittings.
